Excavation Started!!!















The first casualty





























Excavation started on our block this week. Great to see the beginning of our build. Work on the slab starts Monday.

Yes we are hoping to get it replaced.It will have to be the same though as council has deemed that it has to follow in a line the same species of tree planted a 1000 miles away!!!Lucky we are not in another street as they have these yucky palm type trees!Wish we were in the st that has the chinese elms.

    Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the palms either. . . I think they belong in Cronulla, not Camden! I think Phil wants a yukka out the front of the house though. . .we'll see! I much prefer the gums myself!

  5. Hi Jo, Chinese elm is a small leaved elm. I've noticed quite a few around Camden and Narellan. They are deciduous and make great bonsai - but fussy. There is a magnificent specimen in the beer garden of Camden Valley Inn.
