Roof finished and scaffolding gone

Scaffolding has come down and roof is finished nicely in time for the Christmas break. Our house is now protected from the elements.

We have Eaves

More progress on the build this week. Upper roof tiles are finished, eaves are fitted and painted. Brick cleaning has started on 2nd storey.



































Cladding is finished.














Looking forward to seeing gutters/facia and roof tiles on lower level as well as inside work starting. Not to mention seeing the scaffolding start to come down.

Fascia and gutters have been installed and roof tiles delivered. Can't wait to see the roof finished!!!

Verandah and balcony taking shape

Our Verandah/balcony is starting to come together
and nice to see the feature brick at last.
We are really happy with the contrasting
colours of the 'Silver' and 'Pepper' bricks.

We met up with our builder to do the electrical layout today and he let us go upstairs (via a ladder) to have our first look at the golf course view and it was even better than we expected. Thanks Craig.

Bricks Started!!!

Brick laying started on Monday but rain slowed things down a bit by Thursday. Still happy with progress and workmanship.

We took a late drive out to our build today with our dogs with the intention of walking around the estate which we did and found that our bricks had been delivered and arranged in little piles around the house. After our walk we bumped into the brickie who was dropping off some equipment because the guys were getting an early start tomorrow yay!

Frame finished, windows installed!!! Yay

Another big week by Cavalier - frame is finished and windows are installed. Balcony hasn't started yet because it has to be built as the brickwork happens in that part of the build.

Ground Floor Framed!!!

We drove out to the block today kind of hoping to see frames delivered and were very surprised to see the whole ground floor up!!! Well Done Again Cavalier!!!

We have a slab!!!

After a bit of a worry about the weather our slab is finished.
Bring on the frames!!!

Ready To Pour

Preparation for our slab continued this week and concrete will be poured on Tuesday. Fingers crossed for good weather.

Excavation started on our block this week. Great to see the beginning of our build. Work on the slab starts Monday.
